Functions: 

• Design and analysis of stability of slopes in tropical soils in the access roads to the Hidroituango hydroelectric project. 

• Design of retaining walls. 

• Distribution and analysis of embankment material. 

• Material diagrams optimizing the carry. 

Achievements: 

• It was possible to provide timely solutions as the project progressed, reviewing the designs as the work progressed, optimizing them, reducing costs as the new information allowed it. 

• It was achieved an opportune accompaniment avoided cost overruns in cases where the material was not as expected by project.
