LiDAR, one of the new technologies that is changing the construction industry.

LiDAR is the acronym for Light Detection and Ranging. LiDAR is a surveying technology for terrain mapping for the generation of 3D model surfaces. The data is collected by the use of a pulse laser light that emanates and reflects a sensor, when the different pulses of light return, the return times are measured, thus calculating the speed and wavelength that later becomes distances for the creation of the 3D models.
